We've posted a new review on 3DX of the Thermaltake Silent Boost K8 Heatsink.

"Today 3DXtreme has the pleasure of reviewing a new AMD64 CPU cooling solution from Thermaltake. Thermaltake is constantly raising the bar when it comes to cooling products whether it is CPU or Case cooling. The Silent Boost K8 Heatsink is marketed to be able to deliver high performance cooling at 21 dBA a feat that by most would be considered impossible. Is the Silent Boost able to actually outperform an AMD64 stock Heatsink at only 27.5 CFM and 21 dBA, keep reading we’ll find out soon enough!"

We've posted a new review on 3DX of the Crystalfontz 634 20 X 4 USB LCD.

"More and more modding is the way that the hardcore computer user is going and having the most unique toys sets one apart from the rest. Crystalfontz provides toys for the modder or for the system admin who wants an easy way to monitor his hardware without having to hook up a monitor to the computer. They provide a wide variety of LCD displays for just about every application imaginable. Today we have the pleasure of reviewing the 634 LCD (CFA634-TFB-KU) with drive bay kit. It is a 4 line by 20 character display that is backlit and has the option of being connected to USB or serial connection."

Hey Everyone,
We've posted a new review on 3DX of the Aerocool HT-101 Heatsink.

"The HT-101 tower cooler is a large cooler when you first take a look at it, but it is designed to compensate for that larger size. The cooler does come with one blue UV LED fan that can be mounted on one side of the cooler; however AeroCool has included the ability to mount a fan on each side. The HT-101 also comes with a mounting kit for the Pentium 4 series processor as well as AMD Socket 462, I like this feature because if you ever did want to change you machine configuration your heat sink can go right back into your machine."

We've posted a new review on 3DX of the Cooler Master WaveMaster TAC-T01 Mid-Tower Case.

"Today 3DXtreme has the pleasure of reviewing of the Coolermaster WaveMaster TAC-T01 Aluminum Case. We’d like to thank our friends over at PCPartsLeader for supplying this sample for our review. We’ve used Coolermaster’s cases in the past; they are some of the best quality cases we’ve ever used. The build quality is phenomenal, the edges are all smoothed and rounded, thumbscrews are used throughout and the motherboard trays are removable. They also use a higher gauge Aluminum making them much more rigid than any Aluminum case I’ve used. With that said, let’s take a look at the WaveMaster and see if Coolermaster has continued with this tradition."

Due to a lot of requests from you guys to have a news archive for 3DXtreme, I got a temporary news archive up for now, which can be found in the Quick Links section at the bottom of the page. I am actually waiting for the new version of the news management system that we use, which will feature a more designed news archive with a built in search feature. Hopefully that will be out soon, but in the meantime, you guys can check out any of our older posts starting from the beginning of the year when we implemented the new layout. Also, I got the new web poll up, so go vote on it, and let us know what your next processor upgrade will be.
