Hey Everyone,
We've posted a new review on 3DXtreme.net - DangerDen Copper TDX CPU Waterblock and Maze4 Acetal Low Profile GPU Waterblock.
Here's a clip:
For the real watercooling DIY enthusiast out there, DangerDen is one of the biggest names. While we aren’t here today to settle the debate about who makes the best waterblocks on the market today, it can’t be disputed that if you are looking for parts for a watercooling project one of the first places you will look is to DangerDen. My first real foray into watercooling was with a very basic all in one kit. Browsing through many forums over the past couple years I have become familiar with the DangerDen name. Eventually we finally got in contact with DangerDen to review a couple of their waterblocks after I had put together a system to accommodate them. Here we are now to find out if it’s really worth all the effort in putting together a custom system.

Battlefield 2 features immense, richly detailed, destructible environments, from city streets to remote forests, in some of the most notorious hot spots around the world. Each map in Battlefield 2 adjusts in scale to support the number of players in the world, providing the ideal vehicle-to-player ratio and an optimized gameplay experience. Enhanced team play features allow players to enter the action on the front lines as part of a formal squad, or work behind the scenes in Commander Mode to direct the strategic assaults of their teammates. Hey Everyone,
We've posted a new review on 3DXtreme.net - Matrix Orbital MX610 PLED 2x20 Display.
Here's a clip:
"Last year we had the opportunity to review an LCD display product from Crystalfontz which opened the door to looking a some specialty modding items. We found that the user can display a number of things from just plain audio information of a song they are listening to, to critical system information such at temperatures and voltages. Now we have received a similar product from Matrix Orbital, but instead of being LCD based it is PLED based and promises to be just as good if not better than the Crystalfontz display we looked at before. And to add to it’s features this display also has fan control built in along with some other programmable control keys. Let’s take a closer look."

DJPCStore

If anyone is looking for an alternative to Newegg or Zip Zoom Fly for buying computer hardware, I had a very good experience with DJPCStore. In fact they have the 7800 GTX's in stock for the lowest price around, the PNY is only $569 and the BFG 7800 GTX OC for $579 (which they should have back in stock today). I just picked up the PNY model and love it so far, performance is just incredible! Unfortunately, they aren't a site that shows up on Pricegrabber or Pricewatch so unless you dig they may be hard to find.
Mike from DJPCStore really went above and beyond to get my order out the door and to me as fast as possible. We had a slight problem with the order and Mike called me twice to let me know everything was straightened out, even calling me to let me know the package was done and ready to ship. He even emailed me yesterday to make sure it arrived and that everything was working, if you've grown tired of dealing with Newegg and ZZF or are looking to pickup the 7800 GTX at the lowest price on the internet, stop by DJPCStore. I found the customer service to be a step ahead of the other vendors I've dealt with and they really took the time to make sure I had my order as soon as possible. Thanks guys!!
...yea and did I mention the best prices on the 7800 GTXs!!?

Hey Everyone,
We've posted a new review on 3DXtreme.net - Titan Vanessa L-Type Cooler Review.
Here's a clip:
For some time we have been reviewing cooling products from Titan Computers and today they bring us a rather large heatpipe cooler called the Vanessa L-Type. Companies continue to try and push the limits of air cooling and with the use of heatpipe technology seem to be looking to push it even further. The Vanessa L-Type is a large stack pipe heatsink with many aluminum fins and a 120mm fan. Let’s see if it can provide performance to match its stature…

Chaintech VNF4 Ultra vs. Albatron K8X890 ProII - Battle of AMD64 PCI-Express Chipsets
Here's a clip:
"Today 3DXtreme has the pleasure of having a look at two motherboards based on competing chipsets for the AMD64 platform. The Chaintech VNF4 Ultra being based on the Nvidia nForce4 Ultra chipset and the Albatron K8X890 ProII based on the VIA K8T890 chipset. They both sport PCI-Express and a number of features. But the real question is whether they perform equally and if they will let us overclock. Let’s take a closer look… "
