Tuniq TX-2 Thermal Compound Review
Author: Dean Nottis

Introduction
Today 3DXtreme has the pleasure of reviewing the latest product from Tuniq, their TX-2 thermal compound. Arctic Silver has been the king of cooling for so long; I can’t remember the last company that claimed they could beat Arctic Silver out in performance tests. The email I received stated just that “ours beats Arctic Silver 5.” So how could I not put this claim to the test?

The folks at Tuniq were nice enough to send over a few tubes of their latest thermal compound for us to test.

The website makes a few claims like this:
“TX-2 achieves the best interface between your CPU and the heat sinks by its unique designed molecular size and shape. Without any metal or electric conductive, Tuniq TX2 is safe, reliable and the most effective thermal compound for your valuable CPUs and coolers.”

Well, let’s give a go then.
