Introduction
Today 3DXtreme is proud to present our latest review of the newest product from our friends at OCZ. The latest products added to the ever growing memory product line sport the brand new heatspreader design launched in October of this year. XTC, short for Xtreme Thermal Convection, optimizes the thermal management by increasing ventiliation and heat dissipation by using a honeycomb type design.

OCZ, which I still believe is a acronym for OverClockerZ, wasted no time implementing these new XTC heatspreaders onto their latest product the PC-3200 GX XTC memory kit. This latest 2GB kit in the Gold series is rated for operation at DDR400 (PC-3200) and is in the Gamer eXtreme speed line of products. These modules in the 1024MB size feature timings of 2-3-3-8 and 2-2-2-5 in the 512MB size. Our kit is the 2048MB, or 2GB kit.
