Introduction
A few days ago I was delivered the biggest box I have ever seen. The package weighed over 60 lbs. and the driver that delivered it left it in front of the garage, not on the porch. Ringing the doorbell, the delivery man said "I left the package in front of the garage, it will be easier to get inside!" Once I dragged this behemoth into the house and cracked it open I realized this was one of those moment reviewers just live for.

Our good friends at Logitech sent us their Z-5500 Speaker Set. Just to list a few features off this particular set of Speakers: THX Certified, 505 Watts and comes in a 5.1 speaker configuration - Drool. Smiling ear to ear I proceeded to strip the Z-5500s out of their shipping packaging - this is what I now had in front of me.

A few years ago I was delivered the Logitech Z-680s. Logitech took the award winning Z-680 Speaker Set improved the subwoofer, satellites and added a few new touches including real-time digital sound equalization

Just to give the readers some idea of how big this box was, my two and a half year old daughter jumped up on the box for the Z-5500s, thinking it was something for her to play with, maybe even live in. Imagine her disappointment when she realized this toy was for Daddy!!
