Introduction
Today 3DXtreme has the pleasure of reviewing another CPU cooling solution from Evercool, the Super Silent Turbo Cooler Pentium 4 Heatpipe. When we think of heatpipes we typically have the vision of passive cooling, however this cooler has two low profiles fans for added cooling ability. Evercool has always been known for good cooling products for the mainstream market; let’s find out how well this cooler performs.

Specifications

A Closer Look
This cooler comes with all you see below, the heatpipe, two 70mm low profile fans, a mounting bracket, screws and a small tube of thermal paste.

Here is the heatpipe ready to be mounted onto the cpu. As you can see, Evercool provides a splitter wire so that both fans can be plugged into one fan socket on the motherboard or fan controller.

As you can see, the contact surface is shiny but not of a mirror finish. It is however very flat so with a little thermal paste the cooler should make good contact with the CPU for decent thermal dissipation.
