Enermax Deluxe Multifunction Panel UC-9AFATR2B Review
Author: John Faso
Date: September 22, 2004
Supplied By: Enermax
Price: $45 USD

A Closer Look
Enermax thought of everything when designing the front layout of this multifunction panel. They even kept in mind future technology when they added the external Serial ATA connections seen in the picture below.

The installation of the Serial ATA front panel was easy with the supplied cables from Enermax. Seen below is the panel hook up of the cables which then connected directly to the motherboard.

The Enermax Deluxe Multifunction Panels' memory card reader slots seen below have a max speed of 480Mbits per second as well as being able to hot swap info between the readers since all four of the memory slots are active at all times.

The LCD can not only monitor two temperature readings, but can also monitor the RPM speed of two fans. With these sensors you can set the panel alarm with a flashing LCD and beeping alert. You can also set that alert to three different temperatures as seen below.

I found the installation of the cables easy for even the novice computer enthusiast. As seen in the pictures below the installation process was very easy and took little time to complete.

Below are a few pictures of what can be expected once the panel is installed and in full operation.
