Other programs can work the processor to give a higher temperature however I’ve never seen the CPU pushed that hard in real world applications. All of our testing is run in a closed Case environment. The performance delivered by the Cooler Master Aqugate Mini R120 just blew me away, not even the Big Typhoon stood a chance!! At high the Aquagate Mini R120 was extremely noisy, it wasn't even that the fan was loud but it also made alot of noise. At low is was almost silent. After this review was complete we changed fans and maintained performance on par with the stock fan at max speed while keeping the noise to a minimum. Don't let the fan noise deter you from the R120 - changing out the fan is possible and the performance is still exceptional with little noise.
This was never even a possibility on air.
