A Closer Look
The Aerocool HorsePower 1020 watt Power Supply comes in a black finish, the large logo and 14CM fan give the HorsePower a stylish look

The specs we discussed above are listed on the unit itself.

The back of the HorsePower uses the familiar honeycomb design to allow heat to escape through the back of the Power Supply.

Also located on the back of the HorsePower are the master power rocker and the LED on/off switch for the 14CM fan.

A quick look inside and we can see the Aerocool HorsePower 1020 uses beefy components. It has been said that the quality of a Power Supply can quickly be judged by its weight. You can usually tell a cheap Power Supply by the size of the hardware inside.

The HorsePower is a modular Power Supply included are the following cables. 1 x Main connector (20+4Pin), 1 x 12V(4/8Pin), 8 x peripheral ,8 x SATA, 2 x Floppy, 2 x PCI-E 6Pin, 4 x PCI-E 6+2Pin.

The Aerocool HorsePower 1020 is clearly labeled where the modular connections will be plugged into.

With everything connected things can get busy.

The Power Supply includes a carrying pouch for the unused modular cables, screws and a power cable.

Here is a look at the specifications of the test system used and the results of our testing.
