Aerocool AeroBase Flashing Gaming MousePad Review

A Closer Look
The Aerobase is for that gaming enthusiast that wants something that will wow their friends at the next LAN party, or the person that has everything. The Aerobase connects to your PC and is powered from the USB port (version 1.1/2.0 compatible).

Aerocool has included an on and off switch located at the top of the gaming pad. This must be for those times that the flashing starts to cause a crushing migraine. Or when the person next to you at the LAN Party gets annoyed by it and starts to hit you with his BAWLS.

The on and off switch needs to be held in for 3 seconds before the unit will actually turn on or off. Aerocool designed the aerobase with eleven LED lights as seen below as to try and maximize the amount light received when in use. From the bottom it looks like a UFO. I could imagine that if thrown, the folks in the nearby Trailer Park would have a field day with televised interviews about the "glowing, spinning object" that buzzed their double-wide.

Here is the Aerobase Gaming Mouse Pad in full effect! Actually Aerocool has a movie online showing the flashing effect. That can be found here. Also, online is a movie that shows how it flashes with a Cell Phone ring, that can be seen here.
